DistractCam does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your photos and videos stay on your device. There are no accounts, no cloud services, no analytics, and no tracking.

What Data We Collect

None. DistractCam does not collect any data from you or your device.

Camera and Photo Library

DistractCam requires access to your device's camera and photo library to function. Photos and videos captured by the app are saved directly to your device's Photo Library in a "DistractCam" album. These files never leave your device through the app.

Microphone

DistractCam Pro's video recording feature requires microphone access to record audio alongside video. Audio is recorded locally and saved as part of the video file on your device. Microphone access is only requested when you unlock the video recording feature.

Analytics and Tracking

DistractCam does not include any analytics frameworks, crash reporting tools, or advertising SDKs. We do not track how you use the app, which features you access, or how often you open it.

Third-Party Services

DistractCam uses Apple's StoreKit framework to process in-app purchases. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store any payment information.

Data Storage

App preferences (such as photo count, interval settings, and feature toggles) are stored locally on your device using iOS's standard storage. This data is not transmitted anywhere and is deleted if you uninstall the app.

Children's Privacy

DistractCam is designed to be used by parents and caregivers to photograph children. The app does not collect any information from children or any other users. There are no accounts, no user profiles, and no way to share data through the app.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our privacy practices, we will update this page. Since we don't collect any data, we don't anticipate significant changes.
